IS-Series
The IS-Series brings the rider acceptance and performance of Adamson’s touring products to the world of integration. Leveraging proprietary technologies such as: Controlled Summation Technology, Advanced Cone Architecture and intuitive rigging solutions have ensured that the IS-Series meets with Adamson’s high standards. Permanent installations present their own set of expectations, and architects and designers need a product which is purpose-built for them. Unobtrusively blending into the surrounding space, so that the architectural design remains the center of attention is paramount. Adamson has achieved this while delivering the same performance as the rest of the Adamson offering.
The IS7 is a 2-way, full range line array cabinet containing 2x ND7-LM8 Low-Mid drivers (2x 8 Ω) and an NH3-16 1.4” exit compression driver (16 Ω). The critically optimized waveguide produces a slightly curved wavefront with a nominal dispersion pattern of 100° x 12.5° (H x V). The waveguide’s efficiency allows for increased vertical dispersion without sacrificing high frequency presence in the far field. Patent-pending Controlled Summation Technology further eliminates low-mid lobing normally associated with 2-way line source systems.
The IS7p is a 2-way, full range point source cabinet containing 2x ND7-16 Low-Mid drivers (2x 16 Ω) and an NH3-8 1.4” exit compression driver (8 Ω). The prolate spheroidal waveguide produces a nominal dispersion pattern of 70° x 40° or 100° x 50° (H x V), rotatable in 90° increments. The design of the waveguide ensures equal tonal balance when moving outside of the intended coverage pattern, delivering natural sound with no diffraction or lobing.
The IS7px is a passive 2-way, full range point source cabinet containing 2x ND7-LM16 Low-Mid drivers and an NH3-8 1.4” exit compression driver with a passive crossover, resulting in a nominal impedance of 6 Ω. The prolate spheroidal waveguide produces a nominal dispersion pattern of 70° x 40° or 100° x 50° (H x V), rotatable by 90° increments.. The design of the waveguide ensures equal tonal balance when moving outside of the intended coverage pattern, delivering natural sound with no diffraction or lobing.

The IS118 is the companion subwoofer to the IS7. The enclosure is loaded with a light weight, long excursion, 18” ND18-S Kevlar Neodymium driver utilizing Adamson’s Advanced Cone Architecture. It is mounted in an ultra-efficient front-loaded enclosure, designed to reproduce clean, musical low frequency information.
The IS119 is the larger subwoofer in the IS-Series. The enclosure is loaded with a light weight, long excursion, 19” ND19-S Neodymium driver made with Kevlar® utilizing Adamson’s Advanced Cone Architecture. It is mounted in an ultra-efficient front-loaded enclosure, designed to reproduce clean, musical low frequency information.
The IS219 subwoofer is a high-powered subwoofer intended to be used in ground stack configurations and to fit in compact spaces. The enclosure is loaded with two light weight, long excursion, 19” SD19 Neodymium drivers, made with Kevlar® utilizing Adamson’s Advanced Cone Architecture, and a dual 5” voice coil for exceptional power handling. It is mounted in an ultra-efficient front-loaded enclosure, designed to reproduce clean, musical low frequency information.
