And today, out of the blue, Greg Wells, who wrote and produced for Adele and Katy Perry, sent us an email after yesterday picking up two copies of altiverb. This is what it said. “I put a Katy Perry lead vocal through Altiverb. We were all completely blown away. Gorgeous gorgeous work in a brilliant and easy to use plugin. Thank you very much!!! Greg” So I thanked him and asked: “Do you remember which space (or gear) sample you liked so much on the vocal ?” And Greg wrote: ”Disney Hall, the red Berlin theater, the Turkish mosque, the dark plate, the small church with the pipe organ, and a few more I can't remember” A lovely comment of course, and kind of him to let me share it here, but now I am left curious which church Greg meant: the Utrecht Conservatory Chapel, the Zuidervermaning, or the Amsterdam Singelkerk. All three being dear to me, I will just add my thanks to Greg’s and send them on to the guys that got us into those churches: Aart de jong (Utrecht), Han Otten (Zuidervermaning), and Bert van der Wolf (Singelkerk).
